THE LONG SHADOW

The Long Shadow is a project that speaks to Jersey City’s long and storied history as an industrial center within the American Landscape.
Through the use of backlit “animated” lenticular panels, I create short vignettes that unfold as the viewer passes in front of the installation.
The first piece of this series, Erie Cut, was unveiled as part of the 14C Special Projects open studio in Jersey City in April of 2025.

Newsboy Alley is the 2nd installation in the ongoing Long Shadow series. As with Erie Cut, the 7’ tall backlit lenticular print is framed by sculptural and architectural elements that reflect the time and place being depicted. This installation, along with Erie Cut, was featured as part of Art Fair 14C in May of 2025.
